Rep. Mike Lawler (R-17) has announced that $8 million will be allocated toward improving pedestrian safety in parts of Ramapo.
Lawler emphasized that pedestrians in certain areas of Ramapo have faced increased risks of injury due to inadequate funding over the years.
State Sen. Bill Weber (R-38) elaborated on the allocation, stating that the funds will be utilized to enhance various aspects of pedestrian safety infrastructure, including better roads, drainage systems, and other necessary improvements.
