A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to an arrest in a 43-year-old Orange County cold case.
Warwick police said in a Facebook post about the reward that the renewed efforts to find Dawn Marino’s killer follow “recent developments” in the case.
The FBI was among state and local law enforcement seen handing out flyers last week at a roadblock near where she was last seen.
Marino was 20 years old in 1981 when she disappeared outside of a bar in Pine Island after a night out with friends.
Her body was found six years later on Halloween in a cistern in Warwick.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 845-344-5370. All tips can be kept confidential.
