A Westchester mother in jail for a month on a misdemeanor charge allegedly refused an emergency bail hearing today in Supreme Court.
Elizabeth Weinstein was remanded to Westchester County Jail for a competency exam July 4.
Bail was later set for $50,000, $100,000 bond or $75,000 partially secured bond.
Weinstein is accused of violating a family court restraining order preventing her from contact with her children and bail jumping.
Her attorney says told the court she didn’t want the bail hearing and is also refusing to have a competency exam.
We have calls out to the Westchester District Attorney’s office for comment.
