The COVID-19 pandemic may be taking its toll on children. So how do you get your kids to talk about their feelings?
Here are five ways to get kids to talk about COVID-19, according to HuffPost:
1. Write a family newspaper to relay your days and feelings.
2. Join in their “pretend play” to understand how they may perceive the current situation.
3. Offer them simple prompts to make the conversation easier.
4. First talk about your feelings and then let them talk about theirs.
5. Try poetry.
