The tolls on the five bridges operated by the New York State Bridge Authority will be going cashless.
All five bridge toll crossings are set to convert to cashless tolling beginning this summer.
Cashless tolling will be rolled out in phases, starting in July 2021 at the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge.
The bridge authority is encouraging commuters to get E-ZPass to make the switch a bit easier.
The process will be completed next spring at all five bridges, including the Bear Mountain, Mid-Hudson, Kingston-Rhinecliff and Rip Van Winkle bridges.
