The Westchester County Board of Health recognized five people and one program, at its 2019 Health Awards.
The award ceremony celebrated outstanding contributions to public health in Westchester at the White Plains High School.
Abe Baker, 17-year-old high school student from Rye Brook, was honored for his advocacy against nicotine and vaping related products.
Westchester's Health Commissioner attended the awards ceremony as well.
