A 4-year-old girl has died from the injuries she suffered in a crash on Route 32 just south of Cornwall.

suffered in a crash on Route 32 just south of Cornwall.
Officials say Journey Dorch
was one of eight passengers inside her mother's Dodge SUV when the vehicle was
struck head on by a 2009
Toyota Corolla on July 17.
Dorch and two others in
their vehicle, including her mother, 32-year-old Catherine Swartz, were transported
to Westchester Medical Center. The remaining passengers were transported
to St. Luke’s Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Corolla, Helen Rivera, 38, from Newburgh, was pronounced dead at
the scene.
Dorch’s family has started a
GoFundMe page in hope of raising enough money to cover funeral expenses. So far more
than $3,000 has been raised.
