Four Yonkers middle school students were suspended after a classroom fight that was posted on the popular Web site, YouTube.
The video appears to show a Commerce Middle School sixth-grader grabbing another student and throwing him to the ground. It also shows the attacker kicking the victim repeatedly. In the video, it appears to take the substitute teacher about 30 seconds to get out of her chair to address the fight. She says, ?You guys, this isn?t funny.?
The incident, which occurred last week, is now under official investigation. However, school officials say the fight wasn?t as bad as it looked. Commerce Middle School Superintendent Dr. Fred Hernandez claims the four kids involved are buddies and known pranksters.
Hernandez says the fight was staged and likened it to Wrestlemania, where it looks like people get hurt, but they get up and walk away.
