Four Hudson Valley villages have landed on the New York state comptroller's "fiscally stressed" list.
In Rockland, the village of Pomona is considered under "significant stress" and New Square is considered "susceptible to fiscal stress."
In Orange County, Tuxedo Park and Walden fell under the same category.
The figures are based on the villages' year-end fund balances, short-term borrowing and operating deficits.
