A 37-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Newburgh last night, according to police

Police who were responding to a separate incident at St. Luke's Hospital found the victim outside the emergency room.

They administered treatment and transported him inside. The man died a short time later.

The victim's identity has not been disclosed, pending notification of next of kin. No arrests have been made in connection with the case.
