35-year-old man identified as victim of fatal Norwood stabbing

Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing that happened Saturday night in Norwood.

Detectives say it happened at 3210 Webster Ave. minutes before 10 p.m.

Responding officers found 35-year-old Ramon Vasquez, of the Bronx, unresponsive and unconscious with a stab wound to his torso.

He was taken by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The circumstances that led to the stabbing where not immediately known.

No arrests had been made as of Sunday afternoon.
