Three people have stepped up to be considered as donors after the story of a Somers woman in need of a kidney aired on News 12.
Alice Dillon is desperately searching for a kidney and it's not her first time.
Back in the early 2000s, Dillon and her family turned to News 12 for help after finding out she had chronic kidney failure and needed a donor.
Someone stepped forward and donated a kidney. However, Dillon and her parents are starting from square one all over again as donated kidneys only last 10 to 15 years and hers is failing.
Although three people have stepped up, Dillon needs more potential donors because finding a perfect match is not easy.
If you have O-blood type and if you would like to donate, the couple is asking that you reach out to them via email at mdillon897@aol.com.
