Authorities in Orange are continuing to search for evidence in three unsolved, high-profile cases this year as 2019 closes to a close.

In New Windsor, an exhaustive police search has yet to lead authorities to any sign of Jessica Lopez, a 36-year-old Newburgh teacher who vanished without a trace in November.

Police say she has not contacted her family and phone records have not indicated she's used her cellphone or credit cards. They say Lopez was with an acquaintance at the Windsor Motel where she was last seen Nov. 3.

In Wallkill, the search continues for a homicide suspect considered to be one of Orange County's most wanted.

Authorities say 26-year-old Jamaad Murphy opened fire Nov. 3 outside of the Made in Puerto Rico Latin Cuisine and Sports Bar – killing 23-year-old Matthew Napoleoni. Murphy is wanted for murder.

In Port Jervis, the call for justice continues in a case of an unclothed newborn found abandoned and deceased with the umbilical cord attached. Authorities know who the mother is, but test results from an autopsy are pending before charges can be filed.
