A 28-year-old died from multiple gunshot wounds in Mount Vernon on Wednesday.

Police say Kayshawn Smith was fatally shot in the area of 25 Millington St.

This is the third fatal shooting in just a few weeks in the city of Mount Vernon.

There is no word yet on a suspect or motive.
