State police are investigating after an SUV crashed off the Garden State Parkway in Washington Township Sunday afternoon.

Video from the scene shows the vehicle off the roadway as emergency crews responded.

Firefighters helped rescue the driver from the SUV before the person was taken to a hospital.

Authorities have not said what caused the crash.
