Lingering showers are pushing through the area this morning, but at this point most of the rain is light. Watch out for slippery conditions during the morning commute from the rain. Temperatures are near 70-degrees with a noticeably more humid feel to the morning.
This afternoon is hot and humid with a pop-up shower or storm possible in between sun and clouds. High temperatures are in the mid-80s but it will feel like nearly 90-degrees in the Hudson Valley.
A stray shower is possible overnight with low temperatures in the upper 60s. It's humid Friday morning with a low chance for rain in the morning. However, the heat and humidity Friday afternoon could bring a few pop up afternoon storms again. Highs are in the mid-80s. It will feel like the upper 80s.
Labor Day weekend continues to look mainly dry and noticeably cooler. High temperatures are expected to be in the 70s, while the lows will be in the mid-50s, even cooler for suburbs to the north and west. A passing shower is possible Friday evening into Saturday morning and on Sunday morning. Otherwise expect a mix of sun and clouds.
