The final weekend of August is off to a great start tonight. With the cold front passing through, a cooler and more comfortable air mass will drop the humidity starting tonight.
Temperatures overnight under a partly cloudy sky will fall back into the lower to mid-60s. Winds will be northerly. This will make it feel refreshing heading into Saturday morning.
Saturday looks great - it will be a seasonable day with highs near 80 degrees. Saturday night stays clear with a comfortable feel and lows in the 60s.
Changes are ahead for Sunday. It will feel a touch more humid and there will be more clouds with a risk of showers late at night.
Rain chances and humidity levels climb for next week. We have to watch Wednesday for the potential to see strong or severe thunderstorms.
With all of the rainfall lately, abnormally dry and drought conditions have improved throughout the tri-state area.
