Typical September weather expect for the first part of the week. Cool, crisp mornings give way to seasonably warm afternoons. We get a chance to dry out from that unusually wet August pattern we were in.

FORECAST
We have more memorable weather on tap for Tuesday. A fair-weather system over the Great Lakes is pumping in very dry, seasonably warm air. A stretch of nearly perfect weather we haven't seen much of this fairly wet summer.
Skies will remain clear tonight. The air is dry and the temperatures will cool off quickly. Open the windows and let that refreshingly cool air in. Nighttime lows will drop into the low and mid 50s. Urban neighborhoods will settle into the low 60s.
Just blue skies again for Tuesday. Temperatures will warm to the low 80s. There is a slight breeze from the northwest, so the air will be dry, and a comfortable warmth envelops the state.
Clouds will slowly collect on Wednesday. The winds will be out of the south and west. This will begin to transport slightly more humid air back up the East Coast. The air feels a little sticky, but it isn't atrocious. An elongated weather system will drift back towards the state on Thursday. This brings the potential for more showers or storms.
