Woman, man wanted for violently robbing man of his shoes in Morris Heights

According to the NYPD, the victim was attacked by the duo just after 5 p.m. on May 10 in front of 168 West Tremont Ave.

Police are looking for a woman and a man who they say violently robbed a 36-year-old man of his shoes in Morris Heights.

According to the NYPD, the victim was attacked by the duo just after 5 p.m. on May 10 in front of 168 West Tremont Ave.

The man and woman slashed and punched the victim before snatching his shoes right off of his feet.

Police say they took off running after the robbery, traveling westbound on West Tremont Avenue.

Paramedics rushed the 36-year-old to St. Barnabas Hospital. He is expected to recover, according to police.

The NYPD says the woman they are looking for is around 30 to 40 years old and has long red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black shirt with a red design, black shorts, white shoes and glasses.

Police say the man is around the same age and has black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, khaki shorts, yellow shoes and a black baseball hat.
