Two men, 20 and 31 years old, were shot in West Farms, police say.
The scene unfolded near the West Farms Square-E Tremont Avenue subway station, just after 6 p.m. Thursday.
Surveillance footage obtained by News 12 showed the chaotic scene play out. The video captured the gunman opening fire, sending people scrambling to safety.
According to the NYPD, the 20-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg while the 31-year-old was shot in the buttocks.
Officers quickly blocked off the area with crime scene tape as they searched for evidence.
Paramedics rushed both men to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to recover, according to police.
Information about if either man was an innocent bystander was not immediately made available.
