Flames broke out at a commercial building in Nassau County Tuesday afternoon.

Approximately 50 firefighters from four local departments responded to the blaze in Glen Cove, fire officials say.

The fire started around 4 p.m. at the two-story structure on Glen Street in Glen Cove.

The owners of Southdown Coffee say there was a fire in their roasting machine, which forced electric in the building to be cut.

The coffee shop and their second business that shares the space, Otherside Wine Bar, will be closed until further notice.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Nassau County Fire Marshal’s office and the Nassau Police Arson/Bomb Squad.

There were no reported injuries.

“We are hoping to be open in a week or so, but we can’t make any promises,” the owners said in a post on social media.

There was no damage to the structure’s historic interior.
