A New Jersey woman is being praised for her quick actions after helping save a man who lost consciousness during the New York Knicks championship parade on Thursday.
The incident unfolded when a fan spotted a man unconscious on top of a subway tower. Onlookers watched as the fan attempted to wake him up.
That is when Simone Kelly stepped in to help.
Kelly, an EMT with the South Orange Rescue Squad, climbed up to reach the man and administered Narcan nasal spray.
The man regained consciousness after Kelly used the medication. There was no immediate word on his condition.
The incident has drawn widespread attention on social media, where many people have praised Kelly's actions and called her a hero.
