Beach water quality grades have been released across Westchester County ahead of the summer swimming season.
The report from Save the Sound reflects data collected by local health departments.
American Yacht Club and Shenorock Shore Club received the highest grades, both earning A-plus ratings.
Glen Island Park received a B-plus, while Playland Beach earned a B.
Orienta Beach Club and Beach Point Club both received C-plus grades.
Harbor Island Beach was graded D-plus and Hudson Park received a D-minus.
Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club received a failing grade.
Officials said lower grades indicate higher levels of fecal indicator bacteria.
That can be linked to untreated sewage, improperly disposed dog waste, wildlife or polluted stormwater.
