A teenage driver from Glen Gardner has died following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on Saturday night.

The Lebanon Township Police Department responded to reports of a crash near 477 County Route 513 at approximately 9:20 p.m. on April 18, 2026. Initial calls indicated the driver was unconscious and unresponsive, with subsequent reports confirming a motorcycle was involved and the operator had been ejected from the bike.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the operator in a grassy area along the northbound lane of the roadway. The victim, later identified as 19-year-old Michael Vasquez-Chicaiza, had sustained apparent serious injuries.

Vasquez-Chicaiza was transported by ambulance to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A preliminary investigation by authorities suggests the motorcycle was traveling northbound on County Route 513 when the crash occurred. Police currently believe that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The investigation into the cause of the crash remains active.
