The company will be giving away free ice cream cones and cups from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The yearly tradition has been around since the scoop shop’s first year in business in Burlington, Vermont, back in 1979.
The company says it wants to break its record of one million free cones.
There are four Ben & Jerry locations on Long Island, in Huntington, Patchogue, Riverhead and Ronkonkoma, which is also hosting their grand opening ribbon cutting Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
The Station Yards location has already been serving customers after a soft opening in December.
