The chance to save at the pump had drivers lining up Monday for gas priced well below four dollars a gallon in Orange County.
The scene played out at the BJ's Wholesale Club gas station just off Route 17K in Newburgh.
Drivers with membership cards were paying $3.68 per gallon.
That price is about 30 to 50 cents lower than what drivers are seeing at other gas stations in the area.
Many drivers said the lower cost made the wait worthwhile.
"Ten minutes is worth the ten dollars," said Jake Geffner of New Paltz. "With food this way and everything else this way, a little bit off never really hurts here."
While the lots near the pumps were busy, officials said the lines were not holding up traffic on Route 17K.
