All northbound lanes of the Merritt Parkway in Stamford have reopened following a crash and vehicle fire shut down the roadway.
State police said the incident happened around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday near exit 13 in New Canaan.
Troopers said serious injuries were reported.
The closure started between exits 9 and 10 while the investigation and cleanup continued overnight.
State police did not immediately release further details on the cause of the crash.
