Longtime New Canaan football coach sidelined for first time in 50-year career

Rocky Point High School senior Yuuki Donnelly is this week’s winner of the News 12 Scholar Athlete award sponsored by Fourleaf Federal Credit Union.

Donnelly is a self-taught violinist and tennis player.

He also teaches orchestra at the middle school and founded “Harmony for Change,” a group that gives free music lessons to kids in need.

Donney is the tennis team captain and MVP.
