An iconic drive‑in movie theater in Hyde Park is preparing to reopen this year under new ownership.
The Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce said the drive‑in on Albany Post Road will open again, though an exact date has not been announced.
The theater can accommodate up to 670 cars and features a concession building, projection screen, ticket booth and marquee. The Chamber said the location is one of roughly 200 drive‑ins left in the United States.
More details are expected once the new owners finalize their plans for the upcoming season.
