A White Plains resident celebrated a milestone birthday as the community marked his 103rd year.
Kurt Goldschmidt was born in Germany in 1923 and survived the Holocaust.
The celebration was held at Waterstone of Westchester.
Friends and family gathered, including his four‑year‑old great‑granddaughter.
He said his secret to longevity is a mix of healthy eating and a daily martini, "shaken or stirred."
