A teen is facing a murder charge for allegedly shooting a 21-year-old man in the head near the Woodlawn train station, police say.
Authorities identified the victim as Assam Alshaif, of the Bronx.
Police say officers arrested Ja'dore Reid, 18, at the scene.
Reid, of the Bronx, was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
The shooting happened around 10 a.m. Thursday at Jerome and Bainbridge avenues.
EMS rushed Alshaif to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
Citizen app footage shows the crime scene with a backpack and a bloodstain left on the sidewalk.
