State police say they found drugs and a stolen handgun in Shamar Parker’s car.
The Poughkeepsie man was pulled over Monday on Main Street, but troopers say he took off and sideswiped a car.
Parker was eventually taken into custody.
He is facing drug, weapons and reckless endangerment charges.
