A fisherman told News 12 that he was bumped by a shark Saturday morning while fishing with his friend off the coast of Long Beach.
The two men were in kayaks when they felt the animal bump against them.
He told News 12 that he dumped his catch to try and get the shark to go away but it continued to come back.
They were able to wave down some boaters who helped get them to safety.
