Three shootings in Monticello and nearby Forestburgh on Wednesday may be connected, according to village police.

The first incident happened just after midnight on Landfield Avenue, where a 17-year-old girl was shot in the stomach.

She was flown to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.

Less than two hours later, bullets struck an apartment on Terry Lane and narrowly missed a sleeping child.

Minutes after that, multiple shots were fired into a home on Dill Road in Forestburgh.
