The Yorktown Senior Center was filled with joy as Kathleen Marencek celebrated her 100th birthday on May 17.

Yorktown officials and local leaders honored Kathleen and other seniors between the ages of 90 and 100 with a dozen certificates recognizing their milestone birthdays.

The celebration included dancing, a special lunch, and, of course, birthday cake—making it a memorable day for Kathleen and all the guests.
