A 16-year-old boy was injured during a shooting Monday night in Tremont, according to police.

Authorities say he shot in the left foot on East 175th Street and Webster Avenue.

A gun was recovered from the scene and five people were taken into police custody.

No other details have been released as of late Tuesday morning.
