Westchester advocates against human trafficking reacted to the charges that Mount Vernon's Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing.

The indictment against the music mogul was unsealed on Tuesday.

He's facing charges related to racketeering and sex trafficking.

He appeared in court on Tuesday and pleaded not guilty.

Meanwhile, a judge ordered him to be held without bail.

While his trial awaits, advocates are sharing their opinion about the indictment.

News 12 spoke with, David Ryan, the director of Westchester County's Anti-Trafficking Task Force.

Ryan said the case against Combs highlights how common trafficking is in communities around the country, including our own.

"This goes on every single day. We see trafficking in Westchester County every day," Ryan said. "We would like to see it get the headlines equally as much if it's not somebody of fame and fortune."

Ryan said he wants victims of this crime to know that help is available.
