A New City man was arrested for making terroristic threats and robbing a New Jersey business he used to work for, according to police.

Authorities say he entered the business with his Pitbull and stated that the dog would attack employees if they did not give him $7,000.

The suspect also threatened to kill those in the room and send people to their homes to kill their family members.

He held the employees against their will for 45 minutes until he received a check and then fled the area.

Clarkstown police say they located and arrested him in New City.
