A violent incident partially caught on cellphone camera outside of the JZ Sports Bar and Restaurant in the Town of Wallkill last month landed five people under arrest and left two officers hurt, according to police.

Video of the police response on Dolson Avenue was given to News 12 and shows several officers subduing a suspect in the parking lot during one arrest.

Officials didn’t reveal any additional information, but bar staff tell News 12 the incident happened shortly after they closed Aug. 30, at approximately 3 a.m., and started as a domestic altercation.

So far, it’s not clear what criminal charges the suspects arrested are facing. Police say the officers’ injuries were minor.
