Orangetown held an Ice Bucket Challenge event Saturday to raise awareness about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
This year is the 10th anniversary of the viral social media challenge.
The town hosted the fundraiser at the Veterans Memorial Park Splash Pad.
All of the proceeds will go to ALS United Greater New York, an organization which serves the Hudson Valley.
Organizers say the event reinforces their commitment to their cause and each other.
