Drivers on Jansen Avenue in Kingston should plan ahead this Thursday, June 20, as the road will be closed for repainting.

The closure will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m.

During the closure, crews will apply new lane markings, implementing an "advisory shoulder" design. This design will maintain Jansen Avenue as a two-way street, but drivers will be expected to yield to bicyclists and pedestrians using the designated shoulder area.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the closure.
