Clarkstown police are actively searching for a woman involved in an attempted fraud at the Affinity Federal Credit Union on Bardonia Road in Nanuet.

According to the department, the incident occurred Wednesday when two individuals were reportedly attempting to commit fraud at the bank. By the time officers arrived, the suspects had already left the scene.

One suspect was apprehended and arrested at the corner of Route 304 and Bardonia Road, but the other remains at large.

Describing the wanted woman, police stated that she was wearing a black vest and hat with the word 'Colorado' written across the front.
