A new push to preserve affordable homes in New York is on its way, according to Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Gov. Hochul says $412 million in bonds and subsidies will expand and protect the housing supply.

The money will go toward creating and preserving 11,000 homes across the state, including the Hudson Valley. Hochul says more than $37 million will be used to preserve 212 affordable homes in Ulster County. This includes 80 units in Kingston, 60 units in Saugerties, and 72 units in the Town of Ulster.
