One of the two suspects involved in the fatal shooting of NYPD detective Jonathan Diller will appear in court Monday.

Authorities say Guy Rivera is charged with the murder of Diller and the attempted murder of his partner during a traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens.

Prosecutors say Rivera’s gun jammed when he tried to shot Diller’s partner. His attorneys deny the allegations.

Lindy Jones is accused of driving the car Rivera was in at the time. He faces weapons charges.

Both suspects had a court hearing on Friday. Jones will appear in court Monday and Rivera will appear on May 7.
