Former New York Giants wide receiver David Tyree, known for his “helmet catch” that helped the team beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII, made a special guest appearance.
He spoke to parents and students about what it was like playing for his hometown team and his personal journeys of faith and family in reaching the pinnacle of his profession.
Organizers say the event is about bring families together.
