The North Rockland community is mourning the loss of a local athlete who died unexpectedly while on a hiking trip in Chile.
A GoFundMe page reportedly created for the family of 27-year old Brian Kilduff has raised over its $100,000 goal.
The money raised will be used to help the family bring him home.
News 12 was told Kilduff played for North Rockland hockey and was an active member of his community.
