A woman is recovering after being shot in the abdomen in Poughkeepsie early Sunday morning.
Police say they received a call reporting gunfire at around 3 a.m. in the area of Main and Crannell streets.
No victims were found when police reached the scene. However, a woman shortly arrived at a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police say there is an ongoing investigation.
