Police arrested a Poughkeepsie man accused of stealing a car in Highland. 

Town of Lloyd police say they arrested 32-year-old James Thorne.

They say Thorne is accused of stealing a car from a business on Route 9W. 

He’s facing a charge for felony grand larceny. 

Thorne has been released on an appearance ticket and is set to show up in Town of Lloyd Court in mid-June.
