A trial date is now set for the man accused of killing a SUNY Potsdam student from Putnam County.
Michael Snow, of Massena, will face charges that include second-degree murder when his trial starts Aug. 21.
These developments came from the Saint Lawrence County Court clerk's office.
Snow, 32, is accused of fatally shooting 21-year-old Elizabeth Howell, of Patterson.
The School of Music student was walking on a road, not far from campus when she was killed last February.
A motive has not been released.
