Residents in Spring Valley are mourning the loss of a 20-month-old who was hit and killed by a truck outside of his home last week.
Dominic Mero was killed in the parking lot of the Lottie Gardens Apartment Complex.
Officials believe the incident was likely an accident.
No charges have been filed against the 33-year-old Pomona man driving the truck that struck the boy when he ran in front of it.
Donations are currently being accepted at the Guzman Deli located at 50 Rose Ave. in Spring Valley. The money will help the victim's family pay for a funeral.
